High Voltage DC Tester PT15-10S 15kV 10mA
The PT15-10S DC Test System is designed to perform high voltage tests on installed cable and jointing systems.
The High Voltage DC Tester PT15-10S 15kV 10mA Tester has a zero to 15kV DC variable output with a maximum charging capability of 10mA. PT15-10S DC fitted with zero-volt interlock, which prevents production from being switched on unless the output control is at zero. Also, it includes a load discharge system that discharges the cable under test when the output is off. The High Voltage DC Tester PT15-10S 15kV10mA internal dumping system can discharge a maximum of 1.25kJ, corresponding to 7.5F at 15kV. The internal dumping system can discharge a maximum of 1.25kJ, corresponding to 7.5F at 15kV. Standard DP20 discharge probe also supplied with PT15-10S, 15kV 10mA DC Tester, allowing cables with a capacitance of up to 12O to be discharged at 15kV. The supply voltage for the equipment is 240/115V, single phase, 50/60Hz. Each input is able to tolerate the following voltage variation:
- 240V 10%
- 115V +10% and -6%
In the event of a test object failure, the overload circuit will automatically switch off the output voltage and earth the output via the internal discharge circuit. The output voltage Plug by a large, linear, analog instrument marked 0-15kV. A second analog instrument meters the test object's current with 0-10 scale marking. Therefore, the meter reads 0-10mA directly, or 0-1mA when the 10 push-button plugs. Overload plug for 12 15 mA. Subsequently, the instrument's outputs are protected using a fast acting magnetic overload relay, which controls an output contactor. The HV output from the unit uses a high-quality plug and socket system, allowing for easy cable replacement. The pin is protected in transit by a plastic cover attached to the output cable using a thick nylon cord. Plugs are fully de-mountable, allowing for re-termination on site.
